Driver accused of shaving on M5 in Worcestershire

A driver has been accused of shaving while driving on the M5 motorway in Worcestershire.

Police, who were monitoring traffic through roadworks, detained the man - who is charged with careless driving - on Thursday.

The VW Polo driver was followed for about 5km (three miles) south between junction 4a, near Bromsgrove, and junction 5, for Droitwich Spa.

He was issued with a summons to appear in court on a date still to be set.
