Man in court over Hanbury woman's murder

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman who was found stabbed in a Worcestershire village.

Lian Wild, 22, is charged with murdering Karen Wild, 42, whose body was found in a house on School Road in Hanbury, near Droitwich, on Thursday.

Mr Wild, of School Road, was remanded in custody until Tuesday by magistrates in Worcester.

He is next due to appear at the city's Crown Court.
