Man charged with murder over Hanbury woman's stabbing

A man has been charged with murder after a woman's body was found in a village house.

Police were called to School Road in Hanbury, near Droitwich, Worcestershire on Thursday at about 15:00 GMT following reports a 42-year-old woman had suffered serious stab wounds.

Paramedics fought to save her but she was declared dead at the scene.

A 22-year-old man from the village, who has not been named, is due to appear at Worcester Magistrates' Court.
