A central heating supplier has been given permission to build a new warehouse with offices next to the M5 in Worcestershire.

Bosch Group plans to build on a 6.7-acre site at Apex Park in Wainwright Road, next to junction six.

The site was previously occupied by Cosworth Technology, Worcester City Council said.

The authority said Bosch would continue to operate from its premises at Cotswold Way, Warndon.

Council leader Adrian Gregson said: "This move by Bosch shows the faith they have in Worcester's economic offer of a high quality workforce based in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK with the opportunity to build a great work-life balance."

A report submitted to the council said the scheme would result in additional jobs but would not specify how many. The cost has also not been revealed.
