Inquest for Bromsgrove fire victim Kelvin Curtis

An inquest has been opened into the death of a man in a fire at his home in Worcestershire.

Kelvin Curtis, 46, was confirmed dead at the scene of the blaze in Bishop Hall Crescent in the Charford area of Bromsgrove on Tuesday evening.

Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said the "severe fire" damaged sections of the first floor and roof of the house.

The service is working alongside police to establish the cause of the fire.
