Herefordshire WW1 archives digitised

19 November 2013 Last updated at 20:06 GMT

Photographs of munitions workers, letters home from soldiers and adverts calling on families to send cigarettes to the troops are among images of World War One to be digitised and made accessible online.

"Herefordshire in the Great War: Telling the story 1914-18" will explore life in the county during the conflict.

The project, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund, commemorates the 100th anniversary of the war.
