Man, 20, dies after crash in Clevelode

A 20-year-old man has died after a crash between a car and a van.

West Mercia Police said a BMW car and a Mercedes Sprinter van crashed on the B4424 Upton Road at Clevelode, Worcestershire at about 17:00 BST on Thursday.

The car then crossed the road and went through a hedge.

The BMW driver, from the Worcester area, was airlifted to hospital with injuries including a punctured lung, but died later that evening.

The van driver was unhurt. Police have appealed for witnesses.
