Hereford murder: Four men and two women questioned

Five more people have been arrested as part of a murder investigation after the death of a man in Hereford.

West Mercia Police were called to reports of an assault at a house in Ryelands Street at about 17:30 BST on Saturday.

Officers found a man in his 40s who was pronounced dead at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified, police said.

A man in his 30s was arrested on Saturday and another three men and two woman are also being questioned.

Two men and a woman - all in their 20s - are being questioned on suspicion of murder.

A man in his 40s and another woman in her 20s are being questioned on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Det Insp Dave Williams said a post-mortem examination was yet to place and appealed for witnesses to come forward.
