All wards at Worcestershire's Alexandra Hospital have been shut to visitors because of a norovirus outbreak.

Officials at the Redditch hospital said visits were only be possible in "exceptional circumstances", after getting permission from the ward.

The bug, also known as the winter vomiting virus, has also affected two wards at the Worcestershire Royal Hospital - Avon Three and Laurel Three.

Visitors to other wards were told not attend if they showed any symptoms.
