Motorcyclist killed in Tenbury Wells crash named

Police have named a 26-year-old motorcyclist who died in a crash in Worcestershire.

West Mercia Police said Richard Scott Jeary died in the accident at Burford, near Tenbury Wells on 29 March.

Mr Jeary, from Burford, died after a collision with a Skoda Fabia estate car at the junction of the A456 with Boraston Drive, a spokesman said.

Police are appealing for the driver of a 4x4 who may have stopped at the scene to come forward.

PC Simon Fearn said: "The driver is believed to have stopped at the scene but may well have left prior to the arrival of the emergency services."

Shropshire coroner Mr John Ellery is expected to open an inquest over the next few days, police said.
