Two men have been charged in connection with the discovery of what West Mercia Police claimed was one of the biggest cannabis factories they have ever found in Worcestershire.

About 2,000 plants were found at a unit on the Sandy Lane Industrial Estate in Stourport-on-Severn on Thursday.

Officers also seized heaters and lighting.

Another 10 men and a woman who were arrested have since been released on bail.

The two men, one aged 34 and the other aged 22, have been charged with being concerned in the production of cannabis.

They are due to appear before Worcester Magistrates' Court on Sunday.
