Four jailed over Droitwich filmed sex attack on girl, 14

A man and three teenagers who filmed themselves having sex with a 14-year-old girl in a park have been jailed.

James Rogers, 18, of Stalls Farm Road, Droitwich, and the three youths, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Worcester Crown Court.

They filmed themselves having sex with the girl on a mobile phone while she was drunk in 2011, the court heard.

They were each sentenced to 12 months in juvenile detention for three counts of sexual activity with a child.

Rogers, who pleaded guilty to the charges at an earlier hearing, was sent to a juvenile detention centre because he was 17 at the time of the incident in Vines Park on 24 September 2011.

The youths also pleaded guilty to the offences at a hearing in November.

The sentencing on Tuesday was carried over from December while the court waited for probation reports.
