Upton Blues Festival award nomination


Many of the roads were turned into rivers there during our recent recording session - and for those who live in the town - it's either the land of the festivals or land of the floods.

Upton-upon-Severn, though, had a little piece of good news - becoming finalists in the UK Festival Awards - the industry's equivalent to the Oscars.

They were the only volunteer-led event up for the Promoter Of The Year title - having been forced to relocate the festival in just a matter of hours after flooding hit the town.
