Rubber Band Aid charity single by Kidderminster posties

Help

The Royal Mail in Kidderminster has recorded a charity Christmas single - under the guise of Rubber Band Aid.

Carl Wilkes of the former group Sons Of Beaches wrote the song, Santa I've Been Good This Year, a couple of years back - and after a colleague's two-year-old son developed terminal leukaemia, he decided to get all of the posties in front of the the mic.

Carl explains: "I have rallied all the postmen and women of Kidderminster into recording a christmas single to raise funds for local charity Cords4life.

"Cords4life was set up last year by Joseph Beard and Fiona Harris after their baby Charlie successfully beat cancer following an umbilical cord donation.

"Sadly Joey and Fiona have again been given the terrible news that the disease has returned and so baby Charlie is battling the cancer for a second time. "

You can get a copy of the single from Bandcamp or on Facebook.
