Man dies in 'serious crash' near Kidderminster

Two men have been arrested after a man died and two others were injured when two cars collided near Kidderminster.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said it happened on the A448 at Comberton at about 23:30 GMT on Wednesday.

A spokesman said the man, who has not yet been identified, died at the scene.

West Mercia Police said two men had been arrested in connection with the crash and were being questioned at Kidderminster police station.

The two men who were injured suffered shoulder and neck injuries and were taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital.

The crash led to the road being closed for several hours.
