Herefordshire flood water 'up to knees inside van'
Two men had to be rescued after their van became stuck in flood water in Aulden in Herefordshire.
Dean Brown and a colleague used the vehicle's horn to attract attention.
He said the water reached his knees inside the van and was later pulled out by boat and the emergency services.
Mr Brown said they managed to salvage some paperwork but said the majority of their goods left inside were now "wrecked".
The severe weather caused disruption to trains between Great Malvern and Hereford when an embankment subsided. Trains between Hereford and Shrewsbury were also affected.
