Dumped horse left to die in Kidderminster field

A badly injured horse was left dumped in a field in Worcestershire to die, RSPCA officials have said.

Officers were called to the field in Ismere, Kidderminster, early on Sunday after the female horse was found with a serious wound to the head.

A vet was called but was unable to save the animal, said to have suffered neurological injuries.

The RSPCA has urged anyone with information about the horse, thought to be about two years old, contact it.
