Wyeside Festival: How to deal with noise complaints

Whether you're heading out on the town this weekend, or you're just looking to stop in and listen to a bit of music - it's a problem that affects hundreds of thousands in the UK - and could lead to you being kicked out of your own house - Noise.

With more and more musicians joining bands, looking for places to practise and play gigs - an ever increasing number of people are finding that the only thump they hear isn't from a bass drum - but is on the wall from their neighbours - or worse still - the local authorities.

So just what can you do to please those around you - and how do you deal with those who are in breach of the peace?

BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester caught up with Stephen Symmonds - the organiser of the Wyeside Music Festival - to find out how they balance the thousands of people who attend local festivals against the handful of people who live nearby.
