Man injured by air rifle pellets in Redditch

A man has been treated in hospital for minor injuries after he was hit by pellets fired from an air rifle in Redditch, Worcestershire.

A 17-year-old girl and a 28-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of wounding and released on police bail in connection with the incident.

The victim was mowing the lawn in the garden of his home in Oak Tree Avenue on Tuesday evening when it happened.

Officers investigating the incident said an air rifle had also been seized.
