Alethea Taylor: Murder arrest over missing woman

A man has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a Herefordshire woman, who has been missing for almost five months.

Alethea Taylor, 63, was last seen at her home in Orleton on 19 January.

Despite extensive searches by police, mountain rescue teams and the local community she has not been found.

A man in his 60s was arrested on Tuesday and is being held in custody in Hereford, Det Insp Dave Williams from West Mercia police said.

He said investigations into Ms Taylor's disappearance were continuing.
