A man has been arrested by police investigating the death of a woman whose body was found at her Worcester flat.

Jacqueline Harrison's body was found on Thursday evening after her neighbours told police they had not seen her for some days.

A post-mortem examination found the 47-year-old had been assaulted.

Police looking for William Cummins, 51, in connection with the matter arrested a man in Dorchester, Dorset.

Det Insp Gerry Smith of West Mercia Police said officers wanted to speak to anyone who had seen Ms Harrison, of Gresham Road, in the last week of March or first week in April.
