Three wards at the County Hospital in Hereford are closed to visitors following a sickness outbreak.

Wye Valley NHS Trust said it was experiencing a high number of cases of season viral gastroenteritis, caused by norovirus.

A spokesman said routine visiting to the wards had to be stopped to help prevent the infection from spreading.

Anyone who has had any symptoms of diarrhoea or vomiting in the previous 48 hours should also not visit.
