Five of Herefordshire and Worcestershire's 'under the radar' artists have been chosen to perform on the Big Chill Radio Stage.

The festival opens at Eastnor Castle in Herefordshire on Thursday, 4 August until Sunday, 7 August.

BBC Hereford & Worcester has a 12:00 to 15:00 BST slot on the Friday afternoon.

This year's headliners include The Chemical Brothers, Kanye West, Rodrigo y Gabriela and Worcestershire's Robert Plant and The Band of Joy.

Andrew Marston will be introducing local artists Kamos (featuring Tripbuk and L Lloyd), Lil' Dre and Diggy Stylus, Howard James Kenny, Frenchfire and Sam Eden during the three hour slot.

The BBC Introducing will also broadcast live from the event on the Friday evening, as it has done every year since the show went on-air.

The annual festival of alternative, dance and chill-out music and comedy is under the same management as the Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds festivals.
