Isle of Wight woman pleads guilty to acid attack in Sandown

A woman has pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm with intent after another woman was seriously burned in an acid attack.

Sau Lin-Hin, 48, of Mulberry Way, Ryde, appeared at Portsmouth Crown Court.

The attack happened in Sandown, Isle of Wight, on 4 June and left a 22-year-old woman with "life-changing" facial injuries.

Lin-Hin will be sentenced at a later date.

Following the attack in Sandown High Street, the victim was transferred to a specialist burns unit.
