Final ship leaves Portsmouth docks

26 August 2014 Last updated at 21:11 BST

The last section of a ship to be built in Portsmouth has left the dockyards.

BAE Systems, which runs the naval yard, announced in November that shipbuilding in the city would cease.

The forward hull section of the HMS Prince of Wales aircraft carrier is now on a five-day journey to Rosyth in Scotland.

After completion the ship will return to Portsmouth.
