Endangered Amur leopard born at Marwell Zoo

18 August 2014 Last updated at 23:01 BST

A rare leopard cub has been born at a Hampshire zoo.

It is estimated there may be as few as 35 Amur leopards left in the wild and they are listed as critically endangered.

Marc Fox, of Marwell Zoo, near Winchester, said he hoped the breeding programme would mean some endangered leopards would eventually be released back into the wild.
