14 July 2014 Last updated at 20:57 BST

A trust has paid £30,000 to the family of a toddler who died on Christmas Day from a serious infection.

Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust admitted mistakes were made in the treatment of Anabelle Shepherd, who suffered from a rare genetic condition.

The 22-month-old had a weakened immune system following a bone marrow transplant. She was admitted to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.

Her parents said Anabelle was a "bright, happy, smiley little star".
