More than 14,000 people have taken part in a cycling event in Southampton.

The Sky Ride meant 8km (five miles) of roads in the city centre were closed to traffic from 05:00 until 19:00 BST on Sunday.

Olympic gold medallist Jason Queally was one of the cyclists who took part in the traffic-free ride around the city.

The circular route covered the city centre, central parks and Southampton Common.
