Southampton death: Man, 70, named as three suspects bailed

A 70-year-old man who died after he was found collapsed in the street has been named by police.

John William Willdig, of Nelson Road in the city, was pronounced dead at Southampton General Hospital after an incident in Morris Road, on Monday.

Following the death, police arrested three men and a woman on suspicion of murder.

Two men, aged 43 and 53, and the 69-year-old woman, have been bailed, while a 35-year-old man remains in custody.
