Cocaine with street value of £50,000 has been discovered in woods near Southampton, police have revealed.

A large bag of white powder was found in February, with tests showing the presence of cocaine and a commonly-used cutting agent.

Police have appealed for information from anyone who has seen suspicious activity at the location near the River Test to the west of the M271.

Det Insp Jason Attwell described it as a "significant find".
