The death of a homeless man whose body was found at flats in Hampshire is "no longer being treated as suspicious", police have said.

Guy St John Loveday, 50, was discovered in Valentine Close, Fareham, shortly after 07:00 BST. His next of kin has been informed.

The area was cordoned off to allow forensic science officers to examine the scene.

Officers also patrolled the area to "provide reassurance" to residents.

Det Ch Insp Linda Dawson said: "We are still carrying out a number of enquiries as part of this investigation.

"We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or spoken to Mr Loveday since 7am yesterday to contact us."
