The funeral has taken place of a man who died after being attacked outside his family's newsagents shop.

Choudhry Zishan, 35, was assaulted in Eastleigh High Street, Hampshire on 30 March. His funeral was held at Southampton's Medina Mosque.

Family friend Saab Shah Kazmi described him as "a very kind, intelligent, business-minded person".

Jonathon McKinley, 22, and his brother Samuel, 25, of no fixed address have been charged with his murder.

Speaking after the funeral, Alan Green, who worked for Mr Zishan in the shop, said the community had been "devastated" by his death.

"He was the nicest possible chap - he'd help anyone," he added.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Zishan died of head injuries.
