Eastern Airways increase Southampton to Aberdeen flights

Eastern Airways plane landing at Southampton Airport Eastern Airways said the extra flights would be convenient for offshore oil industry workers

Direct flights between Southampton and Aberdeen are being increased following an announcement by regional airline Eastern Airways.

The company intends to run an extra flight each day between Mondays and Thursdays.

Eastern Airways said the flights would benefit offshore oil industry workers as well as travellers joining cruise ships in Southampton.

The firm is also due to take over the Southampton to Leeds Bradford route.
