Hampshire woman fears being treated as 'second class widow'

22 November 2013 Last updated at 09:30 GMT

A Hampshire woman said she is being treated as a "second class widow" following the death of her husband.

Catherine Hawkins, South Wonston, has been told she will only be getting a fraction of the pension they had planned for - because they married after his retirement.

Her husband Tony worked for Hampshire County Council for 30 years. He died last year after a long illness.

The council has said the complaint is now being reviewed.
