Man shot in buttocks in Basingstoke house attack

A man is being treated for bullet wounds after being shot in his buttocks and legs.

The 29-year-old man is believed to have been shot at a house in Bennett Close, Basingstoke, on Friday evening, Hampshire police said.

However, he only went to North Hampshire Hospital for treatment on Monday night.

Hampshire Constabulary said it could not explain why the man had delayed going to hospital.
