Aldershot man, 25, dies in Church Crookham car crash

A man has died after the car he was in left the road and overturned in Hampshire.

The Peugeot 206 was travelling east on Aldershot Road in Church Crookham when it left the carriageway, overturned and came to rest in a ditch.

A 25-year-old Aldershot man who was a passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which happened at 23:05 BST on Wednesday.

The driver, a 25-year-old Aldershot woman, suffered minor injuries.

A second passenger, a 22-year-old who is also from Aldershot, also suffered minor injuries.

They were treated at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey.

The road was shut for about six hours while police investigated the scene.

Hampshire Constabulary has appealed for witnesses.
