Maintenance workers injured in M3 crash

Three maintenance workers have been injured in a crash on the M3 motorway in Hampshire.

An articulated lorry struck three works vehicles on the hard shoulder between junctions 13 and 12 at Eastleigh shortly after 15:00 BST, police said.

The three injured men had been working on the hard shoulder. One was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

The lorry driver was arrested on suspicion of careless driving. The motorway was partially closed.
