A woman's body has been found by fire crews tackling a blaze at a house in Sussex.

The body of the woman was discovered in the property in Edgell Road, Westbourne, near Emsworth on the Hampshire border, at around 11:00 BST.

Police said formal identification of the woman, believed to be in her 20s, is yet to take place.

An investigation into the cause of the fire and the circumstances surrounding the death is under way.
