Middle Wallop plane crash aftermath filmed by witness

Help

The aftermath of a plane crash in Hampshire which killed its pilot was caught on camera by a witness.

Nick Bayes said it appeared the plane had been flying with a number of replica historic aircraft.

He was later alerted that it had come down at the Army Aviation Centre in Middle Wallop on Saturday.

Emergency crews declared the pilot, who was flying alone and has not been identified, dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

The Air Accident Investigations Branch and police are investigating.
