Police have confirmed the identity of human remains found in a Hampshire woodland in February as those of a 24-year-old woman.

Jacqueline Windsor went missing from the Basingstoke area in April 2006. Her death is not being treated as suspicious.

Bones from her body were discovered in a wooded area off Basing Road in Old Basing on 13 February.

An inquest into her death is due to be formally opened on 5 April.

Specially trained officers have been keeping Miss Windsor's family informed throughout the investigation.
