Thorney Hill church appeal after lead thefts

Help

A church in the New Forest that contains a number of important artworks is facing closure after being targeted by lead thieves for the second time.

Lead theft from church roofs is now so common that insurers often will not cover the cost of repairs.

So now residents are being asked to help find the £25,000 needed to secure the future of All Saints Church in Thorney Hill, Bransgore.

Heavy rain caused water damage inside the church, close to the artwork on the walls.
