Portsmouth assistant head teacher in court over child images

An assistant head teacher has appeared in court charged with making indecent images of children and outraging public decency.

Matthew Hill, 38, denied the charges at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court.

None of the images relate to pupils at Lyndhurst Junior School in Crofton Road, Portsmouth, where he is employed.

Mr Hill, who lives in Fareham, was released on bail. He is due to reappear at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on 3 April.
