Eastleigh by-election: Boris Johnson attacks Lib Dems

Boris Johnson joined the Eastleigh by-election battle by criticising the Lib Dems during a visit.

He branded Nick Clegg's party the "Fib Dems" and met voters alongside Conservative candidate Maria Hutchings.

Lib Dem schools minister David Laws, who was also in Eastleigh, said the forthcoming vote is serious and is "not about Boris Johnson".
