Eastleigh housing plan a hot topic


As Eastleigh in Hampshire prepares to go to the polls in a crucial by-election next week, a housing decision in Botley has become a hot topic between the main parties.

On Monday, plans to build 1,400 homes on Boorley Green were approved by Eastleigh's Liberal Democrat run borough council.

Now candidates in the by-election have found themselves caught up in the row.
