Man dies in crash with tree near Fleet

A man was killed when his car left the road, struck a tree and came to rest on the carriageway in Hampshire.

Police said the grey Ford Focus was discovered extensively damaged on Blackbush Road near Fleet at about 22:45 GMT on Saturday.

The 31-year-old driver died at the scene.

Officers urged anyone who saw the car being driven prior to the crash between the A30 and B3013, or witnessed it happening, to get in touch.
