Burning-car death man Agim Hoxha 'was a drug dealer'
A man found dead in a burning car in Southampton was a drug dealer, a court has heard.
The body of Agim Hoxha, 29, was found in his Mercedes in Chilworth Drove on 10 April last year.
The trial of two men charged with his murder began at Winchester Crown Court with the prosecution alleging Mr Hoxha supplied cocaine in Southampton.
Arben Lleshi, 25, of Onslow Road and Afrim Lleshi, 37, of Shirley Road both deny the charges.Hidden cash
The men also deny perverting the course of justice.
It is alleged the Albanian men, who are not related, were both involved in killing Mr Hoxha at a flat in Shirley Road.
The court heard Mr Hoxha, who lived in Cranbury Place but was originally from Albania, made a lot of money from selling drugs.
Police officers found £42,000 hidden in one of his two cars after his death, the jury was told.
The prosecution said it could not be certain why Mr Hoxha was killed but said it was reasonable to infer it had something to do with his drug dealing.
The trial is expected to last six weeks.
