Bramshaw crossroads collision victim, 71, dies in hospital

A 71-year-old man died and two people were injured after a car and a lorry collided at a Hampshire crossroads.
The victim, from Hythe, died in hospital after his Nissan Note was involved in a crash with a Mercedes Actros lorry, on Friday.
Emergency crews were called after the crash, at 14:45 GMT, at the B3079 and Forest Road crossroads near Bramshaw.
The front passenger, a 78-year-old man from Bodmin, Cornwall, is in a "serious but stable" condition.
The rear passenger, a 65-year-old Hythe woman, is receiving hospital treatment.
The lorry driver was unhurt.
The road was shut for more than five hours while the vehicles were recovered and crash investigators examined the scene.
