Biggest container ship visits UK

The world's largest container ship has visited Southampton as part of its first visit to Europe.

The UK-registered Marco Polo is 54m (177ft) wide and 396m (1299ft) long - 51m (167ft) larger than Queen Mary 2 cruise ship.

Much of its cargo consists of consumer goods destined for businesses and shops for Christmas.
