Summit in Hampshire over chalk streams future

A summit has been held in Hampshire to discuss the future protection of chalk streams.

Conservationists argue that the streams, which support unique ecosystems, are being neglected and too much water is being extracted.

MPs attending the summit in Stockbridge said legislation would be introduced to protect the rivers for future generations.
