Hampshire flood warning for River Blackwater

The Environment Agency (EA) has issued a flood warning for the River Blackwater in Hampshire.

A woman from Wellow Mill, who did not want to be named, told the BBC that some nearby properties had already started to flood.

More than an inch (up to 35mm) of rain fell across Hampshire on Saturday with the wet weather set to continue.

A flood alert has also been issued for Lymington River, including Brockenhurst, in the New Forest.

There are more than 200 other flood warnings in place across England - nearly 80 in the South West and about 95 in the Midlands.
